Praga-Północ, on the right bank of the Vistula opposite the Old Town, is where Warsaw’s old tenement streets survive best. About 59,000 people live among prewar buildings with courtyards, around Ząbkowska street, the Koneser complex and the Różycki bazaar, as well as the Praga Zoo and Park Praski by the river. It is one of the best connected districts. It has the most tram stops per km² in Warsaw, the M2 metro line, and Warszawa Wileńska station. Evenings are lively: it has the second most bars, pubs and clubs per km² in the city. Prices have risen fast, up 47% from 2022 to 2025, to about 17,300 zł per m². Praga-Północ suits people who like old buildings, nightlife and being one bridge from the centre.
