Targówek
122,092 residents · 24.33 km²
Targówek lies on the right bank in the north-east, home to about 122,000 people. Its heart is Bródno, a large estate of 1970s blocks with Park Bródnowski in the middle, and next to it Bródno Cemetery, one of the largest in Warsaw. Zacisze and Elsnerów have quieter streets of single-family houses. The M2 metro line runs through the district with five stations, which makes the centre easy to reach. By our score it is calm, with few bars, and everyday shops and services are spread across the estates. Apartments are cheaper than the city median, at about 14,200 zł per m². Targówek suits people who want a quiet residential neighbourhood with a metro station nearby and a smaller budget.
