Ursynów
148,690 residents · 43.75 km²
Ursynów is a large residential district in the south, home to about 149,000 people. Most live in estates built from the 1970s onwards, with wide green spaces between the blocks, and in the newer Natolin and Kabaty further south. The big Las Kabacki forest sits at the end of the estates. The M1 metro line runs through the district with five stations and ends at Kabaty, so the centre is a direct ride away. There are no trams. Almost half the area is green, and by our score it is quiet. Along its eastern side, the escarpment drops down to the Vistula valley. Apartments sell for about 17,000 zł per m². Ursynów suits families and anyone who wants the forest close by and the metro at the door.
