Wesoła
26,694 residents · 22.93 km²
Wesoła is Warsaw’s easternmost district and its greenest: more than 60% of it is forest, parks and meadows. It was a separate town until it joined Warsaw in 2002, and it still feels like one. About 27,000 people live here, mostly in single-family houses, including the newer estates of Stara Miłosna. By our score it is the quietest district in the city. There is no metro or tram. Two railway stations and buses connect it to the rest of Warsaw. Apartments are among the cheapest in the city, at about 12,600 zł per m². Wesoła suits people who want a house in the woods and are happy to drive or take the train.
